Welcome to this week's newsletter. It has been a week of cold unforgiving weather and as the tail end of the 'Beast from the East' departs, we move into a warmer weather system which should kick start the growing season. We are certainly now in the home straight when it comes to the lockdown and with Boris about to outline a plan for our return to a more normal life, we can't wait to get back to it. You will be glad to know the projects we have been doing during lockdown have been going very well indeed, although a little hampered by the poor weather conditions last week. Barney and the team have been working very hard indeed to get things finished and we can't wait to tell you all about what we have been up to. Thanks again to the greenkeeping team for thier hard work in somewhat lonely conditions out in the course, they do a great job in keeping the courses in as best condition as we can during lockdown and beyond. New stocks continue to arrive in-store and I have a lot of you wanting to book fittings for new equipment as soon as we get back to it. Anyone wanting to get a fitting please get in touch so we can get you on the waiting list for fittings, it is all set to be a very busy retur to golf indeed.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of the read. |
Distance Measuring Devices allowed on Tour |
In the latest Tour news, distance-measuring devices (laser rangefinders) will be permitted at the men’s, women’s & seniors’ PGA Championships this year. Whilst this has caused some debate amongst golfers and experts alike, it’s a reminder of just how incredibly useful they can be out on the course, saving time and shots.
If you're still pacing out your yardages from the 150-yard marker, maybe it's time to look at how these fantastic bits of technology could help your game? Send us a message below if you'd like to explore this further. |
