Welcome to this week's newsletter. Well, once again it seems I need to get out the costume and start doing the famous rain dance. The course is now very dry and with the strong winds, it really is a true Links test. Ball sales are up, as expected, as we now head towards the peak dry season. We are still having some amazing scoring in very difficult conditions and I will take you through some of our exceptional scoring later on. Malcolm and his team are understandably worried about the lack of rain but there is not a lot he can do about that. He will continue to get as much of the wet stuff as possible on the greens and tees but the fairways will of course be dry. There are no scheduled plans for course maintenance this week and I will keep you informed of any scheduled maintenance, as I am informed about it.
Enjoy the rest of this week's read.
